This drawing, rendered in charcoal on paper, belongs to my “In Motion” series. In this piece, I sought to capture the enigmatic energy of a face obscured by long hair, caught in the midst of movement. The flowing hair completely conceals her features, transforming her appearance and infusing the portrait with mystery. Yet, despite the concealment, her presence is deeply tangible – incarnated and evocative. Through this interplay of visible and hidden, I wanted to invite the viewer to experience the tension between anonymity and presence, and to sense the emotional intensity that comes from that ambiguity.
