This study was drafted when I found myself at a pivotal moment of self-discovery – a time when the boundary between what I dreamed and what was real began to sharpen in my awareness. The three stone pillars in the piece emerged from the depths of my subconscious, each one shadowed and crumbling, their collapse expressed in countless fragments that scatter across the canvas. These falling shards represent the breakdown of old beliefs and habits, the hidden remnants of my inner world. To emphasize the transformation underway, I chose a radiant, warm backdrop that bathes the scene in light and hope. Through this contrast, I wanted to convey my journey of opening, letting go of my restrictive internal structures, and embracing the possibility of profound change. In painting these elements, I aimed to capture both the struggle and the liberation that comes with personal awakening and the courage to envision a new reality.
