In this work, I sought to capture the sense of profound solitude experienced by a human figure, set against a backdrop where white waves sweep across the scene. These signals, almost ethereal, trace invisible paths through space, highlighting the individual’s attempt to reach out and connect within a higher dimension. Despite this effort, communication feels elusive, as if the very air resists forming links. The composition’s earthy hues anchor the figure to the ground, while the striking yellow light overhead suggests hope – a bridge stretching between the earth’s warmth and the brilliance of the sun above. Through these contrasting elements, I wanted to express the yearning for connection and the poignant isolation of contemporary existence, as if our desire to create a link between grounding and transcendence.
