“Room n°4” is a deeply personal work from my “Secrets” series, reflecting my inner experiences shaped by life in our increasingly virtual world. In this painting, I sought to express how reality becomes fractured and elusive – like seeing only what appears in a watery mirror. The viewer is invited to discover the partial image of a dancer’s feet in her shoes, a subtle nod to my own childhood dream of becoming a classical dancer. Through these fragmented reflections, I encourage you to embrace your own perspective and imagine the story that lies within. Ultimately, this piece meditates on self-perception: since we can never truly see ourselves except as others do – through their eyes, a mirror, or a lens – we are perpetually searching for our truest image, one that echoes our private journey through life.
