In Rooting Dream n°4, branches drift and intertwine like thoughts moving through a half-remembered dream, restless yet strangely serene. The unseen trunk lends the painting a quiet mystery, as though its centre of gravity lies somewhere beyond sight, hidden in the depths of the soul. Dark and luminous strands weave together like shadow and light within the self, tracing the tender contradictions that make us whole. The forms feel at once grounded and weightless, solid yet dissolving into air, as if time itself had slowed to a contemplative breath. There is something unsettling and beautiful in this suspended movement – a fragile dance between stillness and becoming, where the painting seems to ask whether true rootedness might exist even in uncertainty.
