In this painting, branches rise like whispered memories, weightless and wavering against a backdrop washed in the tender hues of spring. They seem to drift between worlds – part tree, part dream – where the familiar laws of nature loosen and gently turn upside down. At their base, wood gathers into something more solid, as though the image is remembering its roots even while dissolving into light. Around them, restless strokes shimmer with the pulse of human life, bright and fleeting, while the branches remain still, patient, enduring. There is a quiet tension here between transience and permanence: the brief, sparkling noise of our presence set against the silent resilience of the trees, which seem to know they will outlast us all.
