In Rooting Dream n°8, slowness becomes a threshold. The forest recedes into brume, withholding itself from immediate view; forms hover between apparition and disappearance, as if the landscape were guarding a knowledge that can be sensed but never fully disclosed. Here, secrecy is not concealment but atmosphere- an active, breathing veil through which perception must learn to move differently. The painting suspends the viewer inside an initiatory interval, where looking becomes ritual and silence acquires depth. What might be read as fairy light or fugitive presence remains deliberately unresolved: a flicker at the limits of vision, a choreography glimpsed and lost. The work asks us to decelerate, to open the senses, and to meet the forest not as scenery but as an interior passage toward a more elusive truth.
