Skin is a canvas that belongs to my “Reverberations” series. It inspires a meditative landscape woven from ocher and earthy hues. Like a whisper, echoing the tranquil harmony of Japanese “Zen” gardens, rendered not only for the eye but for the fingertips. I sculpted the surface with thick layers of resin, so that the painting breathes with an almost palpable presence, its texture inviting touch as much as sight. The soft tones and the gentle glow evoke the tenderness of skin, yet beneath this softness lies a rugged terrain – raw, imperfect, alive. In the dialogue between smooth and coarse, I sought to capture the paradox of human experience: vulnerability and resilience, serenity and turbulence. The piece becomes a meditation, a tactile poem, where the soul reverberates beneath the surface, quietly awaiting discovery.
