In creating this piece for my “Snapshots” series, I wanted to capture the dynamic tension and vibrant beauty found within nature. I deliberately set bold red-pink hues against robust greens, not only to showcase nature’s harmonious balance but also its underlying struggle for existence. My painting technique is inspired by the effect of a slow camera shutter – each brushstroke is softened and slightly blurred, creating a sense of fluid movement and an air of refined elegance. Through these blended colors and flowing forms, I aim to evoke both the vitality and sophistication that are present whenever we pause to truly observe the natural world.
