As I created this painting, I envisioned the origins of our world as a reflective metaphor – like a mirror that reveals the existence of countless other planets, each at varying stages of evolution. Through this study, I explored the formation of mountains and bodies of water, intentionally emphasizing their mirrored relationship. The interplay of these elements is not merely visual; it calls to mind the tranquil poetry found in traditional Japanese landscapes, where water and land seamlessly echo one another. My brushstrokes sought to capture both the grandeur of nature and its quiet introspection, inviting viewers to contemplate the endless possibilities that lie within reflection and formation.
