When I created this drawing, my intention was to delve into the enigmatic space that exists between two bodies – where sensuality, curiosity, and uncertainty intersect. I deliberately distorted the forms, letting the male and female figures blur and flow into one another. This distortion is not just a visual device; it echoes the sensation of simultaneous movement, the way intimacy can both reveal and obscure. I wanted the viewer to feel the tension of connection, to sense that behind these shifting lines and shadowed shapes, there is a deeper question – can the completeness of male and female truly be found in the physical alone, or is there something more elusive, hidden within the mystery of their exchange? Through this piece, I invite you to contemplate the boundaries of identity, story, and the intimate dance of connection.
