In this study for rooting, I sought to capture the quiet miracle of renewal – a lyrical echo of re-birth that trees embody as they surrender to winter’s sleep and awaken with spring’s gentle touch. The trunks appear as spectral forms, blurred and elongated, their wounds exposed like memories etched upon bark. Despite their ghostly presence, the delicate green bursts forth, a fragile symphony of hope and the unstoppable return to life. Within this composition, possibility unfurls – every ending holds the seed of a beginning, and the world seems poised for new growth, for transformation. Everything is possible again; the canvas whispers that we can always start anew.
