In creating this painting, I wanted to invite the viewer into an intimate perspective – down to the very level of the earth, where the blades of grass rise around you. This vantage point captures the humility I feel before the soil, which has sustained life for as long as we have existed. With each brushstroke, I aimed to render the grass vibrant and luminous, their vivid greens almost pulsing with energy. Subtle halos of light encircle some blades, imparting a gentle, angelic quality to the scene. The overall atmosphere is one of reverence and surrender, reflecting my own sense of awe as I contemplate the earth’s quiet generosity.
