I wanted to capture a surreal landscape inspired by the video Valtari by Rossel. In my painting, delicate veils drift gracefully across the scene, creating an ethereal atmosphere. These landscapes are more than visual representations – they are an intimate dialogue between my emotions and the narrative visions of the director. Rossel’s videos evoke silent poetry, staging reveries that feel hauntingly familiar to me. Through my brushwork, nature is elevated and transformed, revealing a sense of wonder and transcendence that I invite the viewer to experience alongside me.
