That morning, the unexpected light of March penetrated every nook and cranny of the earth that had been flooded the day before. The seed germinated and a greenish stalk bear, like a trophy, light green leaves ready to explode the shell of the seed. I am bewildered, transposed, and amazed at this metamorphosis, which is far beyond my comprehension.
