This painting was inspired by a track in the French Alps where I could observe a family, different generations walking in the same landscape as sequences of the human life experience in the matter. This imagery serves as a metaphor for the cycles of human life, with each figure symbolizing a different stage along the journey. Echoing the title’s reference to the song “Wind of Change” by Scorpions, the artwork captures the transformative force of nature, represented by ancient pine trees swaying in the wind. These trees seem to usher in a sense of renewal, suggesting the inevitable passage of time and the arrival of what is yet to come. The composition invites viewers to reflect on the continuity between past, present, and future, and to sense the gentle, yet powerful, momentum of change woven into both the landscape and the human experience.
