This painting forms a key part of my ongoing exploration into the stark differences between Geneva’s lively urban landscape, where my studio is based, and the tranquil, unspoilt environment of the tropical jungle. The canvas captures my yearning to escape the city’s constant movement and immerse myself in the slower, more organic rhythms of nature, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Through its composition, the artwork conveys a sense of transition, with elements suggesting both the structured cityscape and the untamed, vivid life of the jungle, reflecting my aspiration to find creativity and peace within the heart of nature.
