In this piece, I sought to capture a deeply personal moment – a time when I found myself standing at the edge of water, gazing at my own reflection. This encounter became a meditation on the nature of reality. I paused, contemplating whether the true version of myself was the physical body rooted on the shore, or the shifting, ephemeral image mirrored on the surface and shaped by the wind. Through this painting, I invite viewers to join me in questioning where reality lies: in the tangible, or in the version of ourselves that becomes a part of our surroundings, fluid and ever-changing. The artwork is an exploration of identity, perception, and our connection to the environment.
