In creating this study, I set out to depict a forest in a state of distress – its tree trunks bleeding at their roots, a vivid metaphor for the silent agony inflicted upon nature. The scene is raw and evocative; each brushstroke carries the weight of pain and urgency. My intention was to make viewers feel the suffering the forest endures, to sense an atmosphere heavy with vulnerability. Through this painting, I call for an awakening of human consciousness – to end the relentless use of pesticides and halt the devastation of our forests. It is not just a landscape, but a cry for ecological awareness, a visual plea for compassion toward our environment.
