This drawing summons the tree as an ancient presence, half-being, half-vision, emerging from a realm where the visible and the unseen still speak to one another. Its trunk rises like a sacred pillar, while its roots and their reflection descend in a mirrored current, as though the tree were suspended between earth and underworld, matter and spirit. It does not simply grow; it appears to channel a force older than memory, a silent power moving through both darkness and light. The white incisions that cross the form feel like traces of hidden energy – not marks of absence, but revelations, as if the tree were lit from within by secret veins of light. They resemble runes, nerve-paths, or flashes of bioluminescence surfacing from the depths, giving the whole image the aura of an apparition caught between emergence and disappearance. The tree seems less drawn than conjured, as though it had briefly allowed itself to be seen. Here, “Godzilla” becomes more than a title; it becomes an invocation of primordial magnitude. The tree is not monstrous but archetypal – a guardian force, a sovereign of thresholds, holding dominion over a terrain both physical and spiritual. In its immense stillness there is something oracular, as though it stands at the centre of an ancient law we can feel, but not fully name.
