In this drawing I aimed to capture a moment of quiet introspection. Using sanguine and charcoal on paper, I portrayed a woman alone, brushing her hair in the gentle glow of her mirror. The soft atmosphere envelops the figure, while her face, partially obscured by her hair, invites a sense of mystery – her identity and thoughts remain just out of reach. This ambiguity is intentional, prompting questions about who she is, her purpose in that space, and the unseen events that frame this intimate scene. Through this work, I pay tribute to femininity and its delicate sense of modesty, honoring the emotional depth and subtle strength.
